Brussels as a city has some great spots where you can enjoy a bit or a drink, see the great achitecture and parcs, and sleep in the cheaper spots. The city has all the main hotelchains, so after a bit of searching, you will find perfect spots. Try to stay away from the expensive Ixelles and St Gilles. Try the Marrolles area or around Place St Catherine. plenty of great spots for a great price.
